Rules & Terms

A Storical is when a story is told musically in a short span of time. It could be of any genre. It is mandatory that your music video has a small story to tell.

A Short Film is any motion picture that is short enough in running time not to be considered a feature film.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Subtitles

All Storicals(Music Videos) and Short Films submitted MUST have English subtitles.

Storicals (Music Videos) and Short Films without English Subtitles WILL be disqualified.

2. Genre

All genres are accepted.

Fillum will evaluate the overall tone of the Storical ( Music Video) and Short Film, considering psychological impact - content that contains graphic - sexually suggestive / sexually explicit content or artwork will NOT be permitted. Titles that contain profanity or strong sexual language that is inappropriate and posters that contain nudity or sexually suggestive/sexually explicit content or artwork are NOT permitted.

3. Production Year

The Storical (Music Video) and Short Film MUST have been produced AFTER January 1, 2018. Any work submitted before the above mentioned date will NOT be considered.

4. Language

Storicals (Music Videos) and Short Films MUST have English subtitles.

Storicals (Music Videos) and Short Films of ANY LANGUAGE/S will be accepted.

5. Formats

Video file or link to Video file.

Please make sure the video files or links to the video file are accessible and work well. If not, your work WILL be disqualified.

All Storicals (Music Videos) and Short Films selected during this contest will be streamed on the Fillum App.

PLEASE NOTE

Works in progress will NOT be accepted.

If selected, the makers are required to read through the Fillum App Terms and Guidelines and enroll in the Fillum Program in order for the Storicals (Music Videos) or Short Film to be streamed on the App. By submitting the Storical (Music Videos) or Short Film, the submitter acknowledges that Fillum has the right to stream, market and promote the Storical (Music Videos) and Short Film, if selected.
