14° L`aquila Film Festival ()

LAQFF is the main cinematic event of L'Aquila, Italy.

It is reserved for first and second works made by European authors.

1. The planned theme is free; the competition is open to all works by directors with nationality of one of the European Union countries produced after January 1, 2020 and unpublished in Italy; Italian works released after January 1, 2021 but not screened within the Abruzzo Region are also admitted and the regional preview is therefore guaranteed;

2. The competition is divided into two sections:

- national and international short films, for works not exceeding 15 minutes;

- national and international feature films, first or second works, for works lasting more than 60 minutes;

3. The works received will be viewed and selected by a technical jury to participate in the final evenings

4. Each author can participate with only one work for the feature films section and two for the short films section

5. The screening costs will be agreed with the holders of the distribution rights of the selected works

6. A jury of experts will assign, at its sole discretion, the following prizes:

- best international work, recognition and prize of € 500 (in addition to the charges pursuant to art. 5);

- best short film, recognition and prize of € 200 (in addition to the charges pursuant to art. 5);

- best animation work, recognition, as well as any prize within its category

- best actor, recognition;

- best actress, recognition;

8. The deadline for sending the works is set for November 6, 2021;

11. Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of this regulation in all its points. The Festival Direction will settle any unforeseen cases.
