The XVI International Meeting of OPEN SCREEN short video, is the opportunity that the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico gives its community and the general public to show their skills as short filmmakers, offering monetary awards to the best in each category.

1. Those interested may participate with a video per category of one to twenty minutes long (including credits).

a) The works must be sent in high resolution MP4 format via Google Drive to the email: apacineclub2021@gmail.com.

b) The registration form must be attached, which will be available on the social networks of the Secretariat for Cultural Diffusion, UAEM Artistic Promotion Directorate and Cineclub

2. The theme will focus on highlighting universal values ​​as alternatives that promote better human relations and constitute the counterweight to violence.

3. In the following categories:
a) Animation
b) Experimental (under new expressive proposals)
c) Documentary
d) Fiction

4. Short films produced in the period 2019 to 2021 may participate

5. The registration and reception of the works will be made from the publication of this call and until November 15, 2021.

6. The works and documentation sent outside the indicated period will not be considered.

7. The director or filmmaker must sign an authorization letter that will be sent by mail which they must fill out and sign by hand, which must be scanned and returned by the same means so that their short film is exhibited and programmed in the spaces and dates designated by the Artistic Promotion Directorate.
