In 2022, the BALTICON Sunday Short Science Fiction Film Festival (BSSSFFF) will take place on Sunday evening at 7:30pm. We will thrill festival attendees with independently produced short films from around the region and across the globe. BSSSFFF features live action and animated films in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror from some of the best independent filmmakers this side of the Crab Nebula.

After a 2 year disruption due to Covid-19, we now plan on returning to a live event in downtown Baltimore in May 2022.

Certificates will be awarded to the top films in the categories of Science Fiction, Horror, and Fantasy.

Anyone may submit a film to the festival. There is no charge to submit a film and no cash awards will be given. There is no need to be present if your film is selected for screening, but there is about a $77 charge (to be determined shortly) for attending the 4-day science fiction and fantasy convention.
