World Cinema Awards is a annual competition for filmmakers all over the world. Our mission is to promote and celebrate films from all around the world and be another step forward to the filmmakers' careers. Dream. Create. Inspire.

Our jury will award the best films through private screenings. Our jury will choose the nominees for Best of Fest from the films that submitted to the main categories. There is no additional entry fee for the Best of Fest nominated films. All Best of Fest nominees will be screened at the live event. The live event will take place Spring 2023 in Chicago, IL with exact dates TBA. All films selected to be screened will be notified 4 weeks in advance.

Films entered in multiple categories may win multiple awards.

* The Best of Fest winner receives a free statuette and official laurel leaves. Winners may purchase additional statuettes for themselves and their teams.

What we're looking for?

Story-based films, which can be in the form of narrative (fiction), documentary (non fiction), or animation. We accept films of any genres, length and language. Non-English films must have English subtitles.

By submitting your film, take note that:
1. You agree to use parts of your film (including trailer/teaser/film/poster/stills) for promotional purposes.
2. Entry fees are non-refundable. ​
3. Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may enter into multiple categories.
4. The films will not be available online. ​
