Competition Rules


Our listed dates are the intended dates which may be subject to change depending on French health regulations and venues’ availabilities.
SUBMISSION & SUBMISSION FEE 
All nationalities genres and languages are accepted, although non-French language films must include French subtitles to be eligible for screening at the festival.


Films and scripts may be entered into more than one category and will be reviewed separately for each category entered. 
Entry fees are non-refundable. 
All entries must be sent via the Festhome platform.

To qualify for student discount, entrants must provide proof of studies. Failure to do so may result in disqualification without refund.
Each entry and submission category must have its own submission fee. 
Submitted work must be no more than 2 years old. 
If selected, you grant the organisers of The Castillonnès Festival du Film the rights to use any image, clips, titles or words you submitted to us, for promotion purposes on any platform. Film Credit will be given where possible.
Illegal, Fake, False, Unfinished or Work in Progress entries may be disqualified without refund.


MATERIAL 
Your film entry must include : 
log-line and synopsis
director’s or artist’s biography. 
at least 2 non watermarked still pictures from the film.. 
a link to a YouTube or Vimeo type platform to enable embedding to the festival website and judging.

The information entered to your Festhome profile will be used if you get selected to the festival. Communications will be sent to the email address you provide. The Castillonnès Festival du Film is not responsible for any lost communication whatsoever.

Your work must be accessible through your Festhome profile at all times. Any
disappearances set your entry to incomplete or even disqualified.

If selected to be showcased during the event, all screening copies must be received by August 19th 2022.

Format for screening copies will be advised.
Award winners (or a representative) are responsible for collecting trophies or covering the shipping costs if delivered.
