WHO ARE WE?

Io non ti conosco is a cultural and theatrical association, composed by teen between 16 and 30
years that share the passion for acting. The name, taken from the first show, is a provocation towards technological innovation that makes it difficult, if not impossible, to really know each other. "Io non ti conosco", therefore, is not a simple name but an invitation to get to know each other better, without barriers.

1. ORGANIZATION

Io non ti conosco film festival is a film festival founded in 2022 by the Io non ti conosco with the aim to spreading the film culture to an audience of all ages, to grow in them the love of acting. The idea comes from the constant desire to make films, to confront other realities of this sector and to give anyone the opportunity to compete and to show their work.

2. CONDUCT

The festival will take place in Sant'Antonio Abate (NA) in June 2022. The planned place is the municipal library located in via Kennedy 22. Morever, the event will be broadcast live on our pages Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitch, in order to ensure any person to follow the entire event. The festival, besides the Competitions for the different Film Sections, also offers Reviews, Retrospectives and side activities (Exhibitions, Conferences, Round Tables, etc.), as a contribution
to the dissemination of Italian and International Cinema’s story. In the evening, prizes will be awarded to the winning films and awards to important personalities in the artistic, social and cultural fields.

The short films will be evaluated by a special committee that will assess, with an unquestionable decision, the admission of the work itself to the Competitions. The works will be submitted to a JURY TECHNIQUE that will assign, always with unquestionable judgment, the following prizes:

• BEST SHORT FILM (recognition plate + 200€)

• BEST SCREENPLAY (recognition plate)

• BEST DIRECTOR (registration plate)

• BEST ACTOR (recognition plate)

• BEST ACTRESS (recognition plate)

• BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR (recognition plate)

• BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS ( plaque)

• BEST PICTURES (recognition plate)

• BEST EDITING (recognition plate)

• BEST SOUNDTRACK (recognition plate)

• BEST FOREIGN SHORT FILM (recognition plaque)
The opportunities for the works are not finished, in fact, will be able to win the SOCIAL AWARD (plaque recognition), with a contest that will be held on our pages Instagram and Facebook.

Finally, a POPULAR JURY, composed by people, that they love cinema, will award the AUDIENCE AWARD (plaque of recognition).

N.B.The jury of the Festival reserves the indisputable right to award, in exceptional cases, prizes at the last minute.

4. SHORT FILM DETAILS
The works must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes (including headlines and tail), they must be delivered in the manner discussed in point 5. The theme is free but will be excluded from the festival works that show excessively vulgar or offensive scenes. Foreign language works must be subtitled in english or Italian.

5. SIGN UP
Each short film must be accompanied by the registration form downloadable from the website
https://filmfestival.iononticonosco.it/ and compiled in its entirety, the trailer, the photocopy of
the deposit made and a brief summary of the subject as well as pictures, posters and everything
useful for illustrating the film to the press. All this must be sent as soon as possible to the email:
iononticonosco17@gmail.com to allow the selection committee to verify the content and proceed
with the film’s classification.
The participation fee can be paid by bank transfer to the following
IBAN:IT67U0303276170010000170878 , inserting in the causal: Io non ti conosco Film Festival.
Remember that in no case you will be eligible for reimbursement. Another way to register is
through the www.filmfreeaway.com platform or through www.festhome.com. For more

The registration fee is 10€.
The deadline for registration and submission of the film to the Competitions is 31/05/2022.
6. SELECTION AND SEND SHORT FILM
The short films, already in the final version for public projection, can be sent (with expenses
charged to the participant) on DVD, BLUERAY, FLASH DRIVE, SD CARD or HARD DISK at: via Casa
Russo 38, or can be sent online by choosing one of the following options:
1. WETRANSFER or similar (format: MP4, MOV, AVI)
2. YOUTUBE, VIMEO and similar in sections: not listed, accessible only through links and so as to
allow download.
The publication of the film in the catalogue/programme of the event, which will be published
online on our social media pages and on our website, is the official communication of the work to
the Festival Competitions. Participants must inform themselves before the beginning of the event
about the admission of films to the Competitions and the date of projection.
N.B. Submitted the registration form and the copy of the film, it is not allowed withdrawal by the
participant.
7. GENERAL RULES
• In case of incomplete application, admission to the competition is decided by the artistic
direction of the Festival.
• Each participant may submit a maximum of two works with separate registration forms.
• Among the works sent, those selected can be screened in public during the Festival.
• Works, both selected and unselected, sent on a medium (dvd, flash drives, etc.) will not be
returned.
• All registered films will be part of the archive of the "IO NON TI CONOSCO FILM FESTIVAL"
and can be used for cultural, educational, etc. for public and/or television projections.
Commercial use is excluded.
• The Winners will be notified by the organization of the Festival by e-mail or phone.
• Participation in the competition implies unconditional acceptance of these rules.
This Regulation shall be drawn up in english and Italian. In the event of any dispute between
the two institutions, the Italian version shall be authentic.
• The final program of the event, containing the works admitted to the Competition, can be
consulted before the beginning of the Event on the website:

• For matters not provided for in this Regulation, the Artistic Direction of the Festival reserves
the right to take decisions at its own discretion.
