Luberon Film Festival

International Film Festival hosted by the city of PERTUIS will reward at the end of these 4 days in a feature film and short film section the Lavender of Gold for the best film.

The jury will be composed of 4 members from the cultural milieu. He will be invited to present the prizes during the closing ceremony of the event.

La Lavande d’Or: will be awarded to the Best Film by the Jury.

The Silver Lavender will be elected by the public during the screenings.

The prizes designed and sculpted by artists from Vaucluse:

Graphic design: Cathleen Gay

Cathleen was born in 1974 in Melbourne, Australia where she lived until she was 4 years old before leaving for France, Provence, a region of France which inspired several of the most renowned painters such as Van Gogh, Cézanne, Picasso, Matisse … She passed the competition to enter the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Montpellier but ended up joining the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne”, one of the most prestigious fashion design schools in the world and the only one for Haute Couture in Paris. Passionate about the Arts, the LFF will invite her to design the Lavender trophies.

Sculpture: Marie-Claude Zubrycki

Living since her childhood in Robion, she set up her studio in Isle sur la Sorgues. Bronze, this noble and magical metal, the only material capable of sublimating both the volumes and the artist's thought. Marie-Claude Zubrycki knows how to retransmit into matter what she perceives in her heart, translating with talent and skillfully mastered craftsmanship a sensitive approach to an extraordinary vital perception. This ability to fix emotion is found in his female sculptures, mixing passion and artistic creation.

Only films in the year of production of the L.F.F will be eligible (October 2022 to June 2023).

In addition, in order to compete in the festival, only films shot in the regions of the south of France, namely: the South region, Occitanie, La nouvelle Aquitaine, Corsica and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Corsica will be able to to inscribe.
