FICF es un festival de cine en Quito, Ecuador dedicado a la exploración de la Ciencia Ficción, el Terror y la Fantasía. Nuestro propósito principal es presentar y promover diferentes géneros que no son comunes en el circuito de festivales de cine latinoamericano.

Tenemos una serie de conferencias, talleres y fiestas para que tu experiencia de networking sea lo más friki posible. Los oradores y las fechas de los eventos se anunciarán en nuestro sitio web.

Audience Awards - Premio del público

- Production must have been completed after March 2023.

- Feature films must have a duration of more than 70 minutes.

- Short films must have a duration of less than 15 minutes.

-Trailers must be less than 2 minutes.

- Films must be in Spanish or have Spanish subtitles for selection.

- The films will be screened in DCP format, it is necessary to send the project in this format after having been selected. The festival can make a DCP file for an additional fee.

- There should not be a screening fee attached to the film.

- All entries selected at the festival grant FICF the right to screen the project at the festival and to use any footage from the Screener, and all submitted publicity photos and any other material submitted to us related to this entry for FICF promotional purposes , without limits.

-A complete press dossier will be requested for the films accepted to the festival.
- FICF reserves the right to withdraw any film from the poster, before or during the event.

-All selected films/representatives warrant that they have all rights necessary to exhibit all elements of my submission, including music rights.

- FICF reserves the right to stop viewing your film after 15 minutes if the critic determines that the technical quality of the film is not at a basic level for inclusion in the festival.

- The categories can be declared void if the minimum number of entries is not met or if the jury considers that the films/shorts do not meet the basic technical and artistic requirements.

-Festival winners who cannot attend the award event must cover shipping costs to receive their trophy.
