The 4th FESTIVALITO will take place in September 2025, in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, Patagonia Argentina. After the launch, its traveling exhibition will begin in various cities and countries.

We want girls and boys to enjoy independent and auteur cinema designed for them :) We also invite them to debate and reflect after each performance, inviting them to actively participate in the artistic event.

BASES AND CONDITIONS

01. PLACE AND DATE

The 4th Film Festival will take place from September 19 to 21, 2024, in the City of San Carlos de Bariloche, Province of Río Negro, Patagonia Argentina.

02. OBJECTIVES

The 4th Children's Film Festival aims to disseminate quality audiovisual films that reflect the author's perspective, inviting reflection and good practices, integrating girls and boys from an early age to the development of a critical view of audiovisual content.

03. SECTIONS

The 4th Film Festival will have different sections, in all cases the selection of the works will be in charge of the organization.

- Feature Film Exhibition: Open to Argentine and foreign feature films of fiction, animation, experimental, and musical, lasting more than 50 minutes. The film must be spoken in Spanish.

- Short Film Competition: Open to Argentine and foreign works of fiction, animation, experimental, musical, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes (including titles). The works must be spoken in Spanish.

04. ADMISSION OF WORKS

The call is open to short and feature-length films, of any nationality, completed between 2023 and 2025. Advertising works, journalistic reports, series, or documentaries on nature or the environment with a television treatment will not be admitted. In the case of short films, they must be up to 20 minutes long (with titles included) and feature films must be longer than 50 minutes. There are no nationality or theme restrictions. The film containing dialogue must be spoken in Spanish.

05. PRESENTATION OF THE WORKS

Registration for the 4th Film Festival must be made by the producers or directors who own the rights to the work they present and is completely free for Argentine works. To register, interested parties must complete the required data in the online registration form and send a private viewing link.

The deadline for receipt is April 20.

06. COPYRIGHT

The organization of the 4th Film Festival presupposes that the production companies, producers or directors who register hold the exhibition rights of the works they present. In any case, the organization is exempt from any responsibility that may arise from the violation of these bases.

07. SELECTION

The result of the selection will be communicated to those registered on June 8, 2025. Once the aforementioned date has passed without the result of the selection having been expressly communicated to any of the interested parties, it will be understood that their work has not been selected and therefore it will not be part of the programming. Once the movie is selected, it cannot be removed from the programming.

If their work is selected, the registrant must provide the event organization with a copy of the film with projection quality spoken in Spanish, a minimum of three images of the film in high-quality digital format, synopsis and technical sheet of the film. work, which will be used for reproduction on the website and social networks.

Likewise, you must provide the information material that will be distributed to the media during the event. The registrant, whose work is selected, authorizes the organization of the event to disseminate the name, images and information of the film, as well as its technical and artistic team, and authorizes the use of a maximum of three minutes of his film, for audiovisual media and spots, as part of the programming of the 4th Film Festival.

08. ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES

Registration implies full acceptance of these rules by all participants. The organizers of the 4th Film Festival may edit the rules and complementary provisions that they deem appropriate for its best execution. The interpretation of these bases, rules and provisions will be the exclusive responsibility of the organizers.
