The Show wants to be an annual event of short films and documentaries from developing countries and their development, whose main characteristic is to show the public the material produced by social organizations and independent filmmakers committed to solidarity, development cooperation, eradication of poverty, denunciation and social transformation, emphasizing the Millennium Development Goals 2015 and Sustainable Development 2030 of the United Nations.

RULES

An international show, national productions and productions made outside of Spanish territory by Spaniards or foreigners of any nationality are admitted.

Being of legal age. If they are minors, they must present an authorization signed by their parents or guardians.

Short films spoken in a language other than Spanish, the copy must include subtitles in this language.

The number of short films that can be submitted to the contest is unlimited per author.

The short films presented may have been previously screened, posted on the internet or at other shows / festivals or have been selected or awarded.

The short films presented to the Festival will have been produced or premiered after January 1, 2020.

The duration should not exceed 30 minutes including credits.

Admission of works from June 6 to July 6, 2022

In the month of JULY the selected and awarded shorts will be announced.

The Ciudad Real International Solidarity and Awareness Short Film Festival will take place in the month of JULY 2022 in this same city in Spain and its districts, provided that the health authorities authorize its celebration outdoors or in closed or semi-closed venues.

The winning Short Films of the Festival in its different sections and categories will be officially announced during the awards ceremony, and the organization does not have a closed date today.

The screening of the selected short films will take place in rooms or spaces selected by the organization.

THE THEME
The theme in any case will be free within the Millennium Development Goals 2015 and
United Nations Sustainable Development 2030.

RECEPTION OF WORKS
The short films will be sent through the online registration platforms for selected short films.

The costs of registration on the different platforms will be borne by the participants.
The presentation of a short film does not ensure its projection during the Show, this point being the decision of the organization at all times.

A notification will be sent to the authors whose works are selected, screened and awarded.
In the event that the short film is selected for exhibition at the Festival, it may be screened one or more times, as the organizers deem appropriate, assigning the broadcasting rights to the Festival and in non-profit awareness activities or in written, digital, television or radio media with citation of the author.
The contestants are responsible for the fact that the short films presented are not subject to any legal claim, must have the script registration rights and will be responsible for the image rights of the people who appear in their videos, as well as the rights of the band sound and/or original music.

The winners of the different categories will receive a commemorative trophy and diploma delivered by a sponsor.

The selected works will receive a mention for their nomination in a diploma in pdf format.

The decisions, both of the Selection Committee and the Official Jury of the Exhibition, will be final, being formed by members of the NGO or independent persons.

The registration and participation in the Show implies the acceptance of all the bases.

The jury within its faculties may leave one or more of the prizes void.
