Mumbai Tripvill International Film Festival is a monthly live screening film, music, and screenwriting competition with a live Screening & Awards Show Event in the land of the world’s largest film industry Bollywood, Mumbai, filled with all branches of film making and crowded with international film viewers all the time round the year. Being global economic and film business center of the world it has an advantage of thousands of visitors every moment to watch films. just a few kilometers away from international airport and railway station, uniquely the place where the audience are international all time of the year as it is a most major international tourist attraction. Here in the Vicinity of culture and cine screen we are ready to give you Awards, Live screening, Live broadcast of the event showing your film worldwide and free Promotion and added Distribution consultation. The monthly live screenings take place at a specific time of each month at the below mentioned venue.

The city of Mumbai has always has an advantage in the arena of film making. Since the beginning Mumbai is considered as Bollywood and gets the attention of the film makers and viewers from around the world. Mumbai has always the advantage of the distribution of the films worldwide. In every branch of film making Mumbai has established itself as a centerpoint in the history of global cinema. You can be showcased as a global film maker if you have the credential of Mumbai, artistically and commercially. TRIPVILL FILMEDIA is ready to organize festival here with the live broadcast of the live screening each month with attractive, awards, Laurels and honest global credentials as a unique film maker for you to the globe.

The sole purpose of TMIFF is to celebrate the joy of creation in the lap of world class city of cinema, the land of rich cinematic heritage and antiquity . So it has been the attraction of all film lovers from the birth of cinema. TMIFF showcases an outstanding presentation of independent film making, while also building a strong sense of community around the art of visual storytelling.

MUMBAI BOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL honors films from around the world with a vast array of awards in different categories and genres. Our mission is to discover diverse new voices & to promote artists’ work through numerous platforms. With all traditional categories we have also the SUB ALTERN category which particularly focuses on cult film. We added CONTINENTAL category to showcase particularly a continent, it’s society, peoples and culture. You have a scope to submit in about 50 categories for getting an international identity.

In each edition, Filmmakers can submit their projects to have them judged by award winning industry professionals against a high standard of merit and compete with other filmmakers across the globe. Every submission can add numerous additional judging categories, but MUST submit to a MAIN CATEGORY to be considered for additional consideration. Please include the names being credited in your cover letter.

Within forty eight hours of the submission we start the promotion of your film in all our platforms and start to sort out the distribution path of your film globally.

The monthly live screening takes place each month at an auditorium of Mumbai, in the prestigious central cine zone of the city. The Golden M Awards gala will take place in first month of the year at the most prestigious auditorium of Mumbai. All monthly winners of the year will be automatically nominated for the prestigious GOLDEN M AWARDS (the best of the best) and they will be invited to attend our Annual Live Screening Gala in presence of juries, critics, film scholars and eminent movie personalities from across the globe. Films entered in multiple categories may win multiple awards!

Prizes and qualifications

The officially selected project in each month receives TMIFF laurel and certificate. All monthly Award Winners receive laurel and customized certificate and are rated on their respective IMDb pages (if applicable). We offer trophies on demand also.

Each month, most representatives of monthly award winners are screened in Mumbai . Besides the BEST OF THE CATEGORY AWARDS, there are also OUTSTANDING CINEMATIC AWARDS, CRITICS CHOICE AWARDS, AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARDS and HONORABLE MENTION AWARDS, which are given, in all categories.

Each year we select the Best of the Best (From the pool of all award winners from all Seasons) and the FINAL WINNERS receive the prestigious GOLDEN M AWARDS and are screened in the theater in MUMBAI in front of live audience. Along with we broadcast live the live screening on our social media and our online Television TRIPVILL TV

Gala Winners will have a chance to meet with the audience and participate in the Q&A session after the screening.

Rules

Please read these Rules & Terms carefully before you submit your film. By submitting your film into competition in the MUMBAI TRIPVILL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (TMIFF), you expressly acknowledge and agree that you shall be bound by the terms of these Rules & Terms.

TMIFF is open to any film completed after January 1, 2000, regardless of content, subject, or origin. Submitting your film to the TMIFF is not a guarantee of selection. All the official selection, nominees and the winners will be listed on our website permanently. All the winning films will receive a trophy, award or certificate. Trophy will be on demand. Please note that we do not offer application fee waivers. We treat every filmmaker equally.

Films made in languages other than English must have English subtitles otherwise they will be summarily rejected.
The film submitted to the TMIFF for a particular month can be re-submitted at any time for a second chance, considering that we have different judges’ panels for each season.
A director / producer may submit more than one film in a category and more than one category at a time.
The TMIFF is hereby granted the rights to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted for promotional purposes of the festival within India only. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements, rules and regulations.
The TMIFF reserves the right to refuse entries.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the TMIFF , from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits and publicity.
The TMIFF will not refund any fees if the filmmaker fails to submit the film in the correct category. Films submitted without the correct fees or proper submission media may be deemed ineligible at the discretion of the TIFF programming director or executive director. The festival does not cover any of the expenses incurred by the filmmaker.
After a film has been an official selection, the filmmaker will be notified, and eventually the film will be listed on the festival website under Official Selections. The Official Selection status doesn’t mean that your film will be screened at the festival. It means that your film has been appreciated by our judges of panel and you can use the festival logo on your poster.
A nominee will be privately screened for the TMIFF judging panel, and will not be screened initially to the public.
“Best” films of each category will receive a laurel & certificate.
A filmmaker’s submission fee will not be reimbursed if they decide to withdraw their submission. All entry fees are non-refundable.
We require an official trailer or poster, synopsis and a link to your film. Please select the correct category while submitting to avoid disqualification. We reserve right to re-assign films to the appropriate category.
TMIFF may without advance notice amend these Rules & Terms from time to time. Each and every such amendment shall be become effective immediately. It is your responsibility to periodically check for updates of these Rules & Terms.
