GASTRO CINEMA AWARD FOR BEST SHORT FILM €500

Short film submission deadline: August 22, 2025.


General conditions

GASTRO CINEMA will take place from August 18 to 23, 2025 and Spanish and international productions may participate, where gastronomy is present or develops in the gastronomic field.


Fiction and documentary short films with a maximum duration of 30 minutes can participate.

All those short films whose original dialogues are not in Spanish must be subtitled in Spanish.

The works must have finished their production after January 1, 2023.

Registration will be done by sending the short film online through Festhome.

The SELECTED short films must send a copy of the short film in mov or mp4 file before July 8. Size: 1920 x 1080) by Wetransfer or Dropbox to gastrocinemafestival@gmail.com

The organization will agree on the date and order of exhibition of the films, committing to project them only within the Festival.


The Official Jury, made up of professionals from the film industry, will be in charge of awarding the BEST GASTRO CINEMA SHORT FILM prize worth €500.

The decision of the Official Jury will be final. The award for BEST GASTRO CINEMA SHORT FILM will be delivered on October 23, 2025 at the Teatro Principal in Alicante.


Registration implies acceptance of the regulations.
