Multivision Festival is an annual event in St.Petersburg, Russia, held at November. The festival includes competition in animation shorts and video installations evaluated by a professional jury.
The festival program explores the latest developments in international animation, its influence on other artistic practices, synthesis of animation art with other visual and performance arts.
Multivision’s 13th edition will be held in November 2015. The awards are:
The Grand-prix of the festival;
The Best Story
The Best Visual Imagery
The Best animated film for children;
The Best experimental animated film;
The Best animation video installation
and other awards and mentions.

Multivision Festival aims to create an innovative dialogue with its audience, to integrate animation art in the environment of the modern megapolis. Multivision is known by its open-air summer projects: the public screening of the special competition programs at the erected parts of drawbridges on the Neva River in the center of St.Petersburg, from 2007. The festival program is projected on the giant screen 400 square meters attached to the bridge surface. From 2011 a street cinema competition is a part of main festival, it is held in summer, in the framework of Multivision’s public art project graFFFest, on evident weather reasons. In 2013 it gathered more than 30 000 spectators.

The 13th annual International Animation Arts Festival “Multivision” will take place October 24 - November 30, 2015 in St.Petersburg, Russia.
The official languages of the Festival: Russian, English.
The Festival is supported by: Committee of Culture of the Administration of St.Petersburg.
Participation:
The festival is open to all professional animation filmmakers from around the world who submit films in keeping with the regulations of the event. Submitting an entry form means an agreement with festval regulations
The Jury
The films included in the Festival program are evaluated by the professional jury,
Competition programme requirements:
Only films finished after January 1, 2013, duration from 1 min to 30 min are accepted for selection
Selection results will be announced at the beginning of october 2015
Film submitting.
The films with dialogues must be supplied with dialogue sheets with timecode.
Alongside with the film copy a filled entry form, 1 still from the film ( jpg files, 300 dpi), synopsis, full film credits must be submitted.

All applications, all copies of the films and additional materials must be submitted to the Festival not later than 1st July, 2015.
Screning copies are film files.
Guidelines for screning copies film files:
resolution - not less than 1280x720 pix, 1920х1080 is preferable
Video Codec - AVC, H.264, .mp4 or .mov
Video Bit rate from 10-20 Mbps. and more.
Audio - stereo
For the Final Cut users:
Apple ProRes 422 (LT) format
Better without subtitles
Subtitles text file with timecode should be submitted also

Animated video installations are films made in animation techniques, or mixed techniques including animation, that can be demonstrated in loop as a work of art in museum or gallery.
Films can be projected on one or more screens or on different surfaces and objects according to artist's idea
Works selected in this category take part in the festival exhibition at Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art in St.Petersburg, Russia
