Films
All submitted films will be put available for streaming during the film festival (6 months), for the viewers that have bought a ticket for the film festival. Note that short films, as well as feature films of any genre and format up to 70 minutes (short films) and any length (feature films), are accepted.

All films must have been made in or after 2019 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken). Any genre and format are accepted (from 1-minute films to long, narrative/artistic films).

All winning films will be given a printable Award Certificate.

All films of any genre and format are eligible to win/be nominated for one or more of these awards.

The audience award prize will be given to the film that gets the most views.

By submitting the Film, you are agreeing to the streaming of the whole film, to be made available during the duration of the film festival (6 months).

By adding the ‘Permanent Streaming Consideration’ option in your submission, you are applying for consideration in order to add your film permanently in our streaming library, the terms of which will be discussed directly with you, if it is considered for our library.

Services
By submitting your request on our website you agree to let us use your submitted data to create what you have asked for. All PROMOTIONAL reviews will be published on our website and social platforms. You can also request the removal of your PROMOTIONAL review by the end of the monthly competition. As for CRITIQUE REVIEWS, they will not be published anywhere unless the filmmakers agree.

Rights
By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work (full film) can be uploaded on our website. The filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. By submitting, the filmmaker allows Honiros to create a page for their film without infringing copyright of any kind of form. Also, the entry fee and services fee is not refundable and we do not provide any feedback, whether your project has been selected or not (except for paid feedback).

How does it work?

After the submission is complete and the film is accepted, we will upload your film on our website for everyone to stream on-demand. Winning films will be highlighted.

Notification
One day before the end of the second month since the beginning of the festival, Honiros will announce the nominations for every award. One month later winners will be chosen.

Winners, nominees, and unsuccessful films can be deleted from the website after the competition ends as long as the submitter decides to do so.

Disclaimer
By entering your film for consideration for Honiros, you authorize that your work is cleared for festival exhibition and accept full legal responsibility for the intellectual property therein. Entry into the festival constitutes permission to exhibit your work online (full film) at Honiros. Honiros is also hereby granted the right to utilize the e-mails through which the entries were submitted as well as excerpts from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Honiros from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. Honiros DOES NOT PAY SCREENING FEES. By submitting your film via FilmFreeway, you acknowledge that the festival will not pay to present your work.

➨SCREENWRITING COMPETITION:

- For Screenplay and TV, the script must not be under a representation, option, or shopping agreement at the time of entry.

- The same script cannot compete in multiple categories.

- Writers who have sold, optioned, or produced scripts in the past are eligible; however, the material submitted must not have been produced as a feature film or TV series at any time in the past.

- Judging criteria emphasize both writing ability and concept, unlike our main Screenwriting and TV Writing competitions, which are centered almost exclusively on writing ability. Preference may be given to higher-concept material intended for a broader audience.

- The material must be wholly original. For adaptations, the story must be in the public domain, or you have retained the adaptation rights to a particular work.

Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
