The jury will take into account any special needs if the winners come from other European countries or continents outside of Europe. In any case, the Festival organization undertakes, at its own expense, to send the prizes to the winners, with the exception of cash prizes, since "the absence of a legal representative of the winning works, even by proxy, entitles the organization to be exempt from payment of the cash prize," without prejudice to the guarantee of sending the "Mediterraneo Festival Corto™" Award and the motivational certificate.
While no reimbursement of expenses will be provided for the authors and/or their delegates' participation in the awards ceremony, the organization reserves the right to provide hospitality for the winners only. However, particularly advantageous arrangements for food and lodging are currently available in facilities near the event venues.
