Mysuru International Film Festival (MyIFF ) is held annually in Heritage City – Mysuru. MyIFF celebrates world cinema showcasing rich diversity of features, short, student’s film, documentary and music videos. We also discover new films and voices from around the world. MyIFF identifies National, International talents and connects them with the audience and Film Industry.

Our goal is to discover high quality and ambitious films from around the world, to promote filmmakers. We strongly dedicate our Film Festival to support independent filmmakers. We are associated with one of the best Canadian OTT platform Global Cinema Online.

MyIFF creates experiences that bring the people together to discover extraordinary films from around the world. MyIFF focuses on awards, markets, and film promotion so as to build an international platform, and promote the development of the film maker

MyIFF has the aim of facilitating economic activity and professional interaction in the film sector. We plan for meetings, promoting and networking. As every filmmaker dreams about their feature film, short or documentary.

The festival has cluster of event the main event itself and talk shows for youth and children's cinema. The festival aims to introduce first time directors and new films to the world. Jury members will be those who worked in Film societies around the world.

The cross-cultural cinema experience highlighted in this festival with future opportunities promotes advanced films and further careers.

MyIFF will be held every year in the month of October.

The officially selected project will receives MyIFF laurel along with certificate. All the Winners will be listed in our website and also will be shared in our social media.

• MyIFF-2023 accepts only work that has been released or Produced. Any genre and length of film under 40 minutes is classified as a short and anything over 40 minutes is classified as a feature. All Films made in languages other than English must have English subtitles.

• Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted. A separate submission and a separate entry fee must accompany each entry.

• By submitting your film, you declare you have full authority to submit your film to the MyIFF-2023 and you have cleared all rights to use the material in the entered work.

• The festival reserves the right to alter the dates at its own discretion due to seen or unforeseen reasons such as COVID-19 or other necessary reasons. In the rare case any dates are altered, all submitters and Official Selection will be notified of the new festival dates once the adjustment has been made through the email address that the submitter provided to MyIFF via their Festhome application.

• Submitting your film to the MyIFF is not a guarantee of selection. Filmmaker’s submission fee will not be reimbursed if they decide to withdraw their submission. All entry fees are non-refundable.

• The MyIFF will not refund any fees if the filmmaker fails to submit the film in the correct category. Films submitted without the correct fees or proper submission media may be deemed ineligible at the discretion of the MyIFF. The festival does not cover any of the expenses incurred by the filmmaker.

• The filmmaker will be notified regarding official selection and eventually the film will be listed on the festival website under Official Selections. The Official Selection status doesn’t mean that your film will be screened at the festival. It means that your film has been appreciated by our judges of panel and you can use the festival laurel on your poster.

• If selected, the MyIFF-2023 has the authority to use stills, posters, titles, or any information from the submission materials for promotional purposes.

• The MyIFF reserves the right to accept or reject any film that is likely to offend sentiments, feelings or sensibilities of any cast, community, religion, or is likely to promote racism or ill will in the society.

• For any duties, fees and charges accrued for trophy will be covered by recipient not by the festival organizers.

  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
