The V Les Corts International Short Film Festival is a film event organized by students from the Cultural Management Research Project at Institut les Corts, with the support of cultural professionals from Barcelona.

The screenings will take place at different venues: the Josep Maria Trias i Peitx Civic Center, the Pere Quart Civic Center in Les Corts, the La Panarra Youth Center, and the District headquarters in Plaça Comas, during the months of May and June 2027.

The selected short films will be screened (provided the authors give their consent) in three showings: one aimed at students of the Institut Les Corts, another aimed at the general public, which will be screened at the Josep Maria Trias i Peitx Civic Center, and a third, also aimed at the general public, which will be screened at the Les Corts district headquarters in an open-air cinema format.
The festival awards four prizes: three audience awards, one for each showcase, and a special jury prize. In this edition, the special jury prize will be awarded to the best comedy short film. The jury will interpret the treatment of comedy broadly, and will reward originality and excellence.

All participating short films are eligible for any of the four awards.

In addition, the winning short film in the Trias i Peitx venue will be programmed (provided their authors agree) in the Pantalla Barcelona cycle, organized by Barcelona City Council.

The festival will feature three audience awards and a special jury prize to the best comedy short film. The awards will consist of a trophy and, thanks to the festival's collaboration with the Pantalla Barcelona film series, organized by the Barcelona City Council, the winning short film in the Trias i Peitx venue will be screened as part of this series at the Josep Maria Trias i Peitx Civic Center.

The festival is open to filmmakers from around the world. Short films with a maximum duration of 15 minutes and completed after January 1, 2024, are eligible for submission.

Short films whose original language is not Catalan or Spanish must have subtitles in Catalan or Spanish.

Registration is free via the platform www.festhome.com.

The registration period will open on October 1 and close on October 31, 2026.

Short films of any type or genre (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, etc.) are accepted, except those with excessively violent or sexual content.

Selected short films will receive official notification by email during April or May 2027.

Copies for screening must be sent by email, via a downloadable link from Vimeo or Drive, or transferred via platforms such as Filemail, WeTransfer, MyAirBridge, etc.

The organization may edit and use printed material from the works exhibited (in the production of the festival program, poster, etc.). It may also use an audiovisual excerpt from the work (image, sound, or both) for promotional purposes in the media and on its social networks (in promotional videos for the festival).

During the festival, the organization reserves the right to screen the selected films at any public screening it deems appropriate. Producers will transfer the rights for the public screening of their films during the festival at no cost to the festival.

The organization retains the right to modify these rules partially or totally at any time. All disputes will be resolved by the festival organization.

Participation in the festival implies full acceptance of these rules and conditions.
