Festival start: 05 May 2025      Festival end: 24 July 2025

The International Short Film Festival of Les Corts is a film event organized by the students of the Cultural Management Research Project of Les Corts High School, with the support of professionals from the cultural field of Barcelona.

The screenings will take place in different places: at the Centre Cívic Josep Maria Trias i Peitx, at the Centre Cívic Pere IV of Les Corts, at the Espai Jove La Panarra and at the District's headquarters, Plaza Comas, during the months of May and June 2025.

The Festival awards two prizes: an audience award for the best Catalan-produced short film and an audience award for the best international-produced short film.

The award-winning short films will be programmed (with the prior acceptance of their authors) in the Pantalla Barcelona cycle of the Barcelona City Council, at the Centre Cívic Josep Maria Trias i Peitx and at the headquarters of the District. Both screenings will be in open-air cinema format.

The festival will have two audience awards. Catalan-produced short films will compete for the audience award for best Catalan-produced short film.

Non-Catalan short films will compete for the award for best international short film. The awards will consist of a trophy and, thanks to the collaboration of the Festival with the Pantalla Barcelona film season organized by the Barcelona City Council, the winning short films will be screened in this season, in the sessions of the Josep Maria Trias y Peitx Civic Center.

The best Catalan production short film will be screened in the summer 2025 cycle, outdoors, and the best international production short film will be screened in the autumn/winter 2025-26 cycle.

The festival is open to filmmakers from around the world. Any short film with a maximum duration of 10 minutes and completed after January 1, 2022 is eligible to participate.
Short films whose original language is not Catalan or Spanish must have Catalan or Spanish subtitles.

REGISTRATION: Registration is free through the platform www.festhome.com The registration period will begin on October 11 and end on November 18, 2024.

Short films of any type or genre (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, etc.) are accepted, except those with excessively violent or sexual content.

Selected short films will receive an official notification by email during the month of April/May 2025.

The selected works will be screened publicly during the celebration of the exhibition, according to a schedule drawn up in advance. The screenings will take place at the Centre Cívic Josep Maria Trias y Peitx de les Corts in June 2025 and at Plaça Comas.

The projection copies must be sent through the Internet, by link with download option activated from Vimeo or Drive, or transfer through platforms such as Filemail, WeTransfer, MyAirBridge, etc.

The organization may edit and use printed material of the works to be exhibited (in the elaboration of the program of the exhibition, the poster, etc.). Likewise, it may use an audiovisual fragment of the work (image, sound, or both) of the work for promotional purposes in the media and in its social networks (in promotional videos of the exhibition).

During the celebration of the festival, the organization reserves the right to screen the selected films in as many public sessions as it deems appropriate. The producers will cede the rights for the public exhibition of their films during the festival at no cost to the festival.

The organization reserves the right to partially or totally modify these rules at any time. All conflicts will be resolved by the organization of the festival.

Participation in the festival implies full acceptance of these rules and terms.
