The 6th Quillota International Film Festival is a film festival that, in its sixth edition, includes three short film competitions. Through film, the festival carries out training, production, and distribution activities in the city and province of Quillota throughout 2025 (April 20 to December 30). Its objective is to professionally promote high-quality cinematic content in various public spaces, cinemas, cultural centers, and schools in the province of Quillota, Valparaíso Region, Chile. This year, the festival again includes the final screening at the Leopoldo Silva Cultural Center in the city, screenings at the Health and Culture Promotion Center, and outdoor screenings and exhibitions in public spaces throughout the city of Quillota.

RULES FOR THE 6TH QUILLOTA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2025
This call for entries is open from December 1, 2025, to December 15, 2025.
All Chilean, Latin American, and international filmmakers are invited to participate in the 6th Quillota International Film Festival 2025, FicQuillota, an international festival organized by the Quillota Film Cultural Corporation, Valparaíso Region, Chile.
It will take place from December 27 to 30 of this year in theaters, cultural spaces, and avenues throughout the city and province of QuillotaThe following categories exist:
1. Best International Short Film Competition (Fiction, Documentary, Animation) (2024-2025).
2. Best Latin American Short Film Competition (Fiction, Documentary, Animation) (2024-2025).
3. Best Chilean Short Film Competition (Fiction, Documentary, Animation) (2024-2025).
Submissions should be made through:
- The Festhome platform (International, Latin American, and National competitions).
- For the National competition, submissions via a web platform (Vimeo, YouTube, or other), with a password, to ficquillota@gmail.com are permitted.
Selected films will be notified via email to the representative of each work. Once notified, the Festival production team will contact each director and/or representative to request the exhibition copy, which must be in Apple ProRes (HQ) or H.264 QuickTime format.
