Welcome to the 2nd International Contest of Photography and Short Films on Rare Diseases organized by UVEME with the sponsorship of CHIESI Spain and under the collaboration of MPS Lisosomales, this year also dedicated to Alpha Mannosidosis. A contest aimed at both photography and film enthusiasts, as well as health professionals. We want you to be creative, to interpret what it means to you, in a symbolic way, to suffer from a rare disease. Explore your creativity. Express yourself with freedom and emotion. Put yourself in the shoes of a patient, a family member, a caregiver, a nurse, a doctor or a friend of a person with a rare disease... and through your look, surprise us.

- Be creative, surprise us.

- Send your fiction, animation or documentary short film online (Youtube or Vimeo link) with a maximum duration of 30 minutes. We accept works from anywhere in the world, and we recommend subtitling those whose original language is not Spanish. IMPORTANT. Register your short film through the website www.certamenraras.com

- Photographs must not be larger than 3 Mb in jpg format. The size shall be at least 1,600 pixels wide. The file format shall be JPEG quality (10).

- Short films and photographs may be posted and voted on the website from February 13, 2023 until July 31, 2023 at 23:59 (Central European Standard Time. Madrid time zone (GMT+1).

- It should not focus on any particular product or make reference to any specific product prescription, nor promote specific treatments or use the image of any commercial drug (name, logo, box, etc.).

- If you are a healthcare professional, you will be able to compete for the best short film and photograph among your colleagues, and if you are the winner, you will decide which NGO, patient association or health-related foundation is the beneficiary of the prize. You will also be able to exchange it for attendance to a national congress. Always in accordance with the code set by the USD (Deontological Supervision Unit).

- Public votes: only votes from validated emails will be counted. Any suspicious behavior will imply the automatic disqualification of the work in the contest.

- The contestants, by the mere fact of participating, transfer their works, without exclusivity and maintaining the intellectual property of the same, for the promotion and dissemination of this contest without lucrative purposes.

- All prizes will be paid by UVEME AVCE, S.L.
