"Golden Calf"
The fourth international short Film Festival "Golden Calf" (hereinafter referred to as the "Festival" or "ZTFest") in 2023 will be held in the city of Kirov from April 25 to 27.

The Golden Calf Festival is a viewing competition, which consists of a competitive stage, a closing ceremony and awarding of winners.

The purpose of the Festival is to search, support and help in the self–realization of young talents in the field of cinematography (actors, directors, producers, cameramen, screenwriters, etc.), as well as to create conditions for their further development.

A business platform is being created for film industry professionals, buyers and festival agents, allowing them to establish contacts with Festival participants. The winners of the festival will be seen by the multi-million audience of Tricolor TV on the KVN TV channel, and the best participants will be invited to cooperate with KVN Production.

Cash Prizes: 15,000€

The jury of the Festival consists of the leading masters of Russian culture, who award prizes in nominations. The winners of the Festival are awarded with statuettes and monetary rewards.

The qualifying stage involves game, animated short films of various categories shot in Russian. Preference is given to premiers.

To include the film in the qualifying stage, it is necessary to submit an application for participation on the website by April 1, 2023 ztfest.ru . The winners of the qualifying round – the 70 best entries – will be announced on April 10, 2023.

In case of successful completion of the qualifying stage and the film is included in the main program of the Festival, it is necessary to confirm participation in the Festival by filling out the participant's questionnaire on the website by April 15, 2023 ztfest.ru .

The organizers will cover the costs of accommodation and meals, transportation costs of 1 participant from each film participating in the main program of the Festival. The expenses of the other participants representing the competition films are at the expense of the sending party.

Films of the main competition program can be shown no more than 3 (three) once without the written permission of the copyright holder.
