Festival start: 10 November 2026      Festival end: 14 November 2026

The Liège International Comedy Film Festival explores daring, popular and unifying cinema, through a unique competition: it is the only festival in Europe to program international comedies (and sentimental, dramatic, social or horrific). The only one, also, to reward them with a Golden or Crystal Bull. Every year, since 2016, it has presented nearly twenty feature films and around thirty short films, from the four corners of the world.

The competition is open to feature-length and short films, as well as unpublished comedy documentaries, of Belgian or international production, having been made during the 12 months preceding the FIFCL.

To be selectable, a feature film must have a duration greater than 60 minutes.

The Festival does not accept films whose duration is between 20 and 60 minutes.

Films with a duration equal to or less than 20 minutes can be submitted to the short film selection.

Films in competition cannot have been broadcast on the Internet or released on DVD.

An Internet link with password is required (eg: on Vimeo).

In the event of selection, the final copy of the film must be delivered to Liège no later than October 18, 2025.

The selection committee will be able to watch a film

WITHOUT subtitles if the original language of the film is French

WITH French subtitles for other languages
