In its third season, The Quantum Physical Horrific Experience! A haunting desolation of apocalyptic wastelands and the chilling suspense of claustrophobic underground horror!

If you're a writer aged 18 or above, we invite you to submit your screenplay. When you enter, you're granting us permission to use the winners' names and likenesses for publicity and promotional actions without any additional compensation. We will actively publicize and promote all progress, development, and success of the scripts you enter. We welcome submissions from any genre and it must be your original work. Please ensure you register your script with the Library of Congress before submitting it. You can do so at http://www.copyright.gov. Please provide a Copyright or WGA registration number (or foreign equivalent).

This Fall, Oct 19th 2024, the festival will showcase the unique and terrifying visions of both established masters and emerging talents in the genre.

Attendees can expect an array of spine-tingling screenings, unsettling Q&A sessions, and blood-curdling surprises. Unearthing the dark side of cinema at the Quantum Physical Horrific Experience, where every screening is a journey into the unknown. Dare to join us as we delve into the depths of fear and fascination, exploring a world where nightmares become reality, and terror is the main event.

When you submit content to The Quantum Physical Horrific Experience, we will actively promote it on our website, in our printed materials like the festival program, and through our press and marketing activities, including presenting selected films to the press.

We only accept screenplay submissions in PDF format. We will not accept substitutes or new drafts unless you make a separate entry and pay the respective fee.

You grant us the right to use the film's name and the submitted images for these purposes. We also ask whether you would be open to screening your film at tours or similar events, as we frequently receive requests for guest spots at other festivals and events.

Once we officially accept a film into the festival, you may not withdraw it from the lineup. You also have the responsibility of providing the screening materials at least four weeks prior to the festival. If your screening is a world premiere, please inform us. We will strive to promote it to the local community and we appreciate updates on your production and marketing activities!

The Quantum Physical Horrific Experience reserves the right to use an excerpt (about 1 minute or less) from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. By submitting the film, you warrant that you have the authority to commit the film for screening and that you understand and accept these requirements and regulations. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Quantum Physical Horrific Experience, and its assignees, from all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may arise from any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
