ZIPITCAFE AWARDS
Organizes and carries out 4 World Film Festivals annually

ZIPITCAFE AWARDS
Aims to give space to all levels of filmmakers.

Festivals have 3 categories Feature Film, Short Film and Documentary.

We've also included a category called the Mobile Filmmaker Award to reward filmmakers who use mobile phones to create a cinematic narrative.

The Festival will be accessible to everyone who registers on the ZipitCafe Awards platform, and anyone can vote on the films that are shown during the period and on the date the event will take place.

We want public participation, so the public vote will count towards awarding filmmakers for their participation and the quality of the cinematographic narrative presented.

Prizes are monetary and are sponsored by advertisers and value accumulated by subscriptions in each event.

The monetary value of each prize will be announced two days before the event is shown online.

The Jury will choose the best films whose narrative is better explored in the various technical and content aspects.

The awarded film in each category will be the cumulative score and choice of the jury and the public.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The ZIPITCAFE AWARDS focuses on storytelling and filmmaking.

ZIPITCAFE advises you to make use of TMDB [ themoviedb.org ], when you enter your data and list your film in TMDB your data is available in real time on the Festival's Dshboard.

The student concession fee is only applicable to filmmakers that were full time students at the time of making the film.

Applications are open to feature film, short film, documentary and mobile filmmakers worldwide, as a director, producer or screenwriter, companies or individuals.

There is no maximum limit of entries per candidate, which means that the candidate can submit the number of films that belong to him, and over which he reserves all copyright.

All films in a language other than English must be subtitled in English.

Applicants must submit a continuous one-minute excerpt from a film project (feature film, short film, documentary or mobile). The trailer must not exceed one minute in length.

It does not count as a rule for film submissions, however applicants who send a video pitch of up to two minutes with comments about their project and filming approach, as well as why they would like to participate in the ZipitCafe Awards, will receive a monetary credit in the $50 value that can be used on future submissions.

Demo reels, trailers, video clips and pornographic films will not be admitted to the contest, will NOT be accepted into the contest, please note... if sent by mistake or distraction, the submission fee will not be refunded.

Submissions of feature films, shorts or documentaries that display a time code on the screen will not be accepted for ZipitCafe Awards. please note... if sent by mistake or distraction, the submission fee will not be refunded.

All films that are submitted will be shown, however the films must be clear for which audience they are directed, they must be clearly defined if they are aimed at children or adults.

If the content is aimed at children, it must also be described for what ages.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The ZipitCafe Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilise an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.

The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorised to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.

The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless ZipitCafe Awards from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
