OFFSIDEFEST is a festival specialized in football film documentaries, and movies can be addressed from any point of view or approach to the beautiful game, whether sporting, social, ideological, biographical, anthropological, etc.

The jury will be appointed by the festival organization and will be composed of professionals from the cinema, football and culture.

-Any section
-No date restrictions.
-Origin: Any country
-Decision: Audience (voted in the venue or online through www.offsidefest.com)
-Reward: Memorial Trophy

·OFFSIDEFEST 2018 BEST SHORT DOCUMENTARY FILM:
-Passada en curt Section.
-Films produced after 01/01/2017.
-Origin: Any country.
-Decision: OffsideFest Organization.
-Reward: Memorial Trophy

REGISTRATION IN THE OFFICIAL SELECTION FEATURE FILMS COMPETITION

OFFSIDEFEST is a festival specialized in football film documentaries, and movies can be addressed from any point of view or approach to the beautiful game, whether sporting, social, ideological, biographical, anthropological, etc.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

·The deadline for submitting films in competition is from December 26th 2017 until February 25th 2018.

·Procedures for submitting the films in competition include:

-Protected Link: Send us the link and password: concurs@offsidefest.com.
-Mp4 file or similar (2GB max). Send a link (WeTransfer, for example) to: concurs@offsidefest.com.
-DVD + Signed Data Sheet.

·Shipping costs will not go in charge of the OFFSIDEFEST.

·Material sent from outside Europe should clearly indicate “Temporary export Cultural Purposes Only For No Insurance commercial value value for custom purpose only No Involved commercial transaction.....” and mark “No value”, or no more than “10 $”.

·Under no circumstances OFFSIDEFEST will bear customs charges of the posted stuff.

·Stuff received for registration won’t be sent back.

·The Selection Committee will communicate their resolution February 26th 2018. For further information please contact: concurs@offsidefest.com

·All works selected will receive a contract to formalize its participation in the OFFSIDEFEST. The presentation of the following material also be required:

-List of dialogues in Spanish and/or English.
-Synopsis.
-Biography and Filmography of the director.
-3 photos from the film (resolution min. 300 dpi).
-1 photo of the director or directors.
-Arxiy, Bluray or DVD of the final version of the film.
-Trailer.
-Any type of promotional stuff already produced.
-Film in .mov/.mp4 (or similar) file, DCP or other format agreed with the organization.

·Shipping costs of the films will be paid by the OFFSIDEFEST organization.

·The OFFSIDEFEST organization will decide the order and the screening date of the films.

·Once approved the participation of a film, it can’t be premiered in Spain before its official screening at the OFFSIDEFEST. Applicants shall not withdraw their films from the Festival once the selection is confirmed by the OFFSIDEFEST and approved by the producer, maintaining the obligation to provide the OFFSIDEFEST with all necessary materials for optimal screening of the film.

·The OFFSIDEFEST Organization may deny participation to any film unable to meet the technical requirements for a public screening of good quality.

·Decisions by the Selection Committee are final and are not subject to further review or appeal.

FESTIVAL SECTIONS

OFFSIDEFEST has three sections.

·Official Competitive Section: Only films completed after January 1st 2017 are eligible for this section. Spanish documentaries must be international premieres. Spanish premiere is required for international films.

·Fora de Joc Section: This section focuses on national or international documentaries awarded in other festivals, documentaries which were highly praised internationally, and special premieres of films which are about to be distributed domestically.

·Passada en curt Section: This section focuses on national or international short film documentaries completed after January 1st 2017.
