The Envigado Short Film Festival is reaching its sixth edition in 2023, taking place from August 22nd to 26th. This year's focus will center on the theme of migration, bodies in motion, and the images that narrate, in various forms, the human displacements that shape realities. Through diverse showcases and selections of short films, the spotlight will be on Envigado as a creative hub while also hosting national projects and inviting international contributions that will enrich a week of short stories

SHORT FILM SELECTION REGULATIONS

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Accepted Categories: Documentary, Animation, Community, Fiction, Experimental, Video Dance
Accepted Formats: Digital
Minimum duration: 1 minutes
Maximum duration: 30 minutes.

Spoken or subtitled in Spanish if Spanish is not the original language.

With technical standards ensuring reproduction and projection on screen.

Direct registration through the festival's Google form is free of charge.

Registration through any platform is free of charge.
Registration deadline: Until August 16, 2023.
Fill out the official registration form on the Festival's website or through the platforms used by the Festival.

RECEIVING THE WORKS:

3 Categories:

• Migrant Short Films: stories that focus on bodies in motion, displacements, escapes, returns, diasporas. Stories of any type of migration, from the intimate to the public.

• Children and Youth Short Films.

• Short Films made in Envigado.
Send files of the registered short films through links from Vimeo, Dropbox, WeTransfer, Drive, Mega, or other means, if the link is private or password-protected and has the option for downloading enabled. The link address should be attached to the registration form.

Confirmation of acceptance of the short film will be sent via email to select participants. The selected participants will be announced before the festival takes place.

Selected participants must send a high-quality digital file for screening during the Festival.

Selected participants may send promotional materials (posters, banners, stills, postcards, dossier, etc.).

Registering a Short Film implies acceptance of the Festival's rules.

The organization reserves the right to suspend or modify the Festival if necessary. If this happens, participants will be notified. The Envigado Short Film Festival will, at its sole discretion, address any circumstances not specified in this Regulation.
