We want to share our love for the cinema with all the people. Roadside Film Festival is designed to screen experimental and indie films on the public space. The selected films will be screened in free access locations for a real encontrer with the audiences.

We believe that cinema should be accessible to all. Our concept transforms ordinary public spaces into vibrant outdoor theaters, creating a shared experience that transcends traditional boundaries. From bustling city squares to peaceful parks, we bring cinema to the people, fostering a sense of community and celebration.

All the selected films will be screened in various cities. Finally just two films will be awarded by each category. One will be selected by our jury and other will be selected by the audiences.

This call applies to film enthusiasts and filmmakers who do not have formal financing to distribute their films. We want feature and short films made by amateur filmmakers from around the world.

We love
Amateur Films related to Animation, Collage Film, Documentary, Experimental Films, Found Footage, New Media, Video Art and Video Poetry.

We don't
Advertising Films, Marketing Films, Music Videos, Promotional, Institutional or Commercial Films made by professionals related to the Film Industry.

We accept
DV Recordings, Glicht Aesthetics, Hi8 Videos, Home Movies, Super 8 Films, VHS Videos and Short Films made with a Smartphone.

We avoid
Explicit Sexuality, Gore, Hate Speech, Excessive Violence, Sadism or any content that may offend the audience's sensitivity.
