Get ready for an unparalleled cinematic experience in the second edition of the "GrimmWatch Horror Film Festival!" This edition of the festival promises to immerse attendees in the depths of terror, exploring the unknown through a careful selection of films and special events.

Prix ​​en espèces: 1,500€

In this edition of the festival there will be “€1,500” in prizes distributed in the following categories:

Best Short Award: €700
Audience Award: €300
Best Director Award: €100
Best Photography Award: €100
Best Design Award: €100
Best Actor/Actress Award: €100
Best Production: €100

- Theme
The short films submitted must belong to the horror genre. Fantasy, thriller and suspense genres will also be admitted.

- Requirements
Participation in the festival is open to any person or producer, whether amateur or professional.

- deadline
The works can be sent until, October 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

- Plays
The maximum duration of the short films will be 29 minutes. There will be no minimum duration of the shorts.

Works made with any type of audiovisual technique will be accepted, including animation, mobile devices, video cameras, digital video and film.
Works made after January 1, 2022 may be submitted.
It will have to have Spanish subtitles if a different language is spoken in the short film.
The authors will be responsible for the rights to their works.

- Presentation
The short films will have to be sent through the “Festhome” platform or to the email chiclanahorrorfilmfestival@e3fentertainment.es

- Jury
It will be made up of professionals from the field of different categories. Your decision will be final.

- Criteria
The selection commission will evaluate the short films based on the following criteria: Relation to the Festival theme. Artistic and aesthetic quality. Creativity and originality.

- Selection
The jury will make a selection of short films that will be part of the Official Selection of the Event. Selected authors will be notified through the FestHome platform and by email.

- Intellectual property
The presentation of a short film implies the non-exclusive transfer of the rights of the work to the organizing entities for use in the event's scheduled activities during the year.

The short films that are selected as “Finalists” will have to reserve exclusivity for screening at other festivals from October 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025.

The presentation of this festival implies knowledge and acceptance of these rules, as well as any decision or modification made by the organization.
