It is an international film festival that is established in Bogotá, Colombia and takes place annually.
It seeks to exhibit and promote cinematographic works with a Christian perspective and from another perspective in different scenarios through strategic alliances.
The event takes place from September 3th to 7th, 2024 where an inauguration takes place, exhibition spaces for short films registered in a previous call and training activities through workshops and conversations with experts in scriptwriting, directing, production and distribution.
On the last day of the festival, a closing ceremony is held with an award ceremony for the different categories: Characters of Faith with Cell Phones, Best Christian Short Film, Best another look Short Film and Best Christian Video Clip.

The call to participate in the four categories of FICCBOG 2023 is open: 1. Characters of Faith 2. Best Christian Short 3. Short Another Look Best 4. Best Christian Video Clip

1. Characters of faith

Short films made with a cell phone, whether fictional or documentary.

• Theme: Stories of faith, testimonies of men and women of faith.

• Duration: 1 to 10 minutes maximum

• If the original version of the short film is in a language other than Spanish, the film will have to be sent in version
Original subtitled in Spanish.

• All works whose completion date is after January 1, 2021 will be admitted to the contest.

• The short films can be presented online through Festhome. The participant will assume the expenses derived from this platform and the FICCBOG registration fee ($20)

• MP4 format
2.Best Christian Short
• Topic: Christian values

• National and foreign works are accepted.

• Maximum duration of the short films is 30 minutes.

• If the original version of the short film is in a language other than Spanish, the film will have to be sent in version
Original subtitled in Spanish.

• All works whose completion date is after January 1, 2021 will be admitted to the contest.

• The short films may be presented online through Festhome. The participant will assume the expenses derived from this platform and the FICCBOG registration fee ($20)

• MP4 format


3. Best Short Another Look

• Topic: health and stories overcoming

For this category, Colombian short films are received with content that has any of the following parameters: I) That people of Colombian ethnic groups participate within the production team quota. II) That show images of Colombian landscapes. III) That they tell stories that enhance the value of Colombianness.

• National and foreign works are accepted.
• Maximum duration of the short films is 25 minutes.

• If the original version of the short film is in a language other than Spanish, the film must be sent in the original version subtitled in Spanish.


• All works whose completion date is after January 1, 2021 will be admitted to the contest.

• The short films can be presented online through Festhome. The participant will assume the expenses derived from this platform and the FICCBOG registration fee ($20)

4. Christian Video Clip

• National and foreign works are accepted.

• Maximum duration of short films 7 minutes.

• If the original version of the short film is in a language other than Spanish, the film will have to be sent in version
Original subtitled in Spanish.

• All works whose completion date is after January 1, 2021 will be admitted to the contest.
