7TH INTERNATIONAL CRAFT AUDIOVISUAL EXHIBITION

The International Craft Audiovisual Exhibition, promoted by the Catalan Government through the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion (CCAM), is a meeting point for two fields:
crafting and audiovisual. It was created to generate synergies and promote the creation of quality audiovisuals based on artisanal creative processes and focusing on artisans and their crafts.

The exhibition is the only one of its kind to be held in Catalonia and throughout Spain. This year it reaches its seventh edition to show the diversity and creative richness of the crafting world, through unique and contemporary stories from artisanal crafts around the world.

In past editions we have seen projects showing the commitment to sustainability and feminism, documenting the fusion between technological innovation and crafts or audiovisuals explaining the roots of crafting in the territory.

In this seventh edition, we will value quality proposals with more accurate and exigent audiovisuals. Format and content innovation will be the main spotlight but also international projects opening cultural dialogues and allowing diversity.

The pieces must be original and unpublished, and they will be presented at the Gala that will take place at the Disseny Hub Barcelona on the 27th of September. The films will then be available on the FILMIN cinema platform, the CCAM website and the ‘Exhibition on the Road’.

Once more, the coordination and management will be taken care of by bbintervencions. We will guide you and help you with any questions you might have during the process.

RECOGNITIONS AND AWARDS

The Exhibition will not involve any awards, the objective is to give visibility to crafts and the creative process behind them through audiovisuals.

However, being selected for the Exhibition can promote you and your project through:

• FILMIN platform

• Being published on CCAM official website as part of the 7th International Craft Audiovisual Exhibition

• CCAM Social Media

• Mentions on general and specialized media

• Projection of your work during our Gala that gathers professionals and the audience

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

AUDIOVISUALS

Audiovisual projects where artisanal crafting and/or crafters are the main characters.

Format of your choice, it can be a short film, a documentary, a videoclip or any other format.
Original and unpublished, it means they cannot be published already in any other channels such as YouTube, Vimeo, social media, etc.

The overall duration shall not exceed 10 minutes but there is no minimal duration.

GRAPHICAL MATERIAL AND TECHNICAL SHEET*:

• Poster including only the title of the movie + background (layer poster will also be accepted (.psd/.ai)). Minimal resolution required: 2000 x 3000px.

• 3 or 4 HD photograms of every title.

• Bio + photographs of the directors.

• Synopsis + technical sheet (title, year, duration, crew, etc.)

*subtitles (Catalan, Spanish and english) and the graphic material will only be required for selected projects.

DELIVERY DATE

The call for participation is open until May 18th, 2025.

SELECTION PROCESS

A specialized jury will evaluate and select the projects.

The selected projects will be shared via email between the first and second week of June.

Those selected must sign a contract for the necessary management of the exhibition, reproduction, public communication and marketing of audiovisual works with the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion (CCAM). The document will be provided in due time.

Graphic material and subtitles must be provided for those selected.
