The Cine Rock aims to integrate cinema and musical performances in the heart of Rio de Janeiro! The event celebrates rock and its stories: the culture, societies, lifestyle, history, struggles, utopias, dreams, and revolutions that immortalize this genre!

WHICH FILMS? The Cine Rock is looking for films with a musical theme that focus on contemporary music: rock, jazz, pop, electro, reggae, blues, hip hop, or their derivatives.

The showcase accepts all types of films, whether fiction, documentary, stop motion, animation, or experimental, or even a combination of various styles. The runtime of the films is also unrestricted. The only requirement is that the films be spoken or subtitled in Portuguese.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR FILM? You can submit your film via email or through the Festhome platform. We accept films in digital format, preferably H264.
