We are expecting great participation with enthusiasm from filmmakers and other industry professionals from India and abroad. The main agenda of AIFF is to provide platform for talent irrespective of newbie or experienced filmmakers.

The 1st AIFF-22 will provide you an environment to flourish your skills in cinema and is definitely will be contributed hugely to your progress as a filmmaker.

AIFF is one of the feather from the bouquet of an idea of omguru and one of his determined dream. He wanted to make a platform for young and amateur filmmakers, musician, animation maker, editor, ad film maker, DOP, script writer, art director etc .

AIFF is the 1st organization in Gujarat who is willing to provide platform for the creativity of an emerging artists.

AIFF 2025 Film Submission Guidelines

1.Subtitles: Films in languages other than English must have English subtitles.

2.Year of Production & Accepted Movie Duration:

- Year of Production: January 2020 onwards.

- Short Film, Animation, AD Film, Foreign Films: Up to 30 minutes.

- Documentaries: Up to 240 minutes.

- Music Video: Up to 30 minutes.

- Feature Film & Foreign Films: Between 60 to 190 minutes.

3. Screening History: It is acceptable if the films have been previously screened, shown on the Internet, or in other festivals.

4. Awards Categories (International/National):

-Finalist: Shortlisted films considered for AIFF awards will be honored with a Certificate & Memento.

- Winner: Winners will be honored with a winning certificate and trophy.

- All Participants: All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation.

5. Jury Decision: The decision of the Jury is final and cannot be challenged.

6. Sales Assistance: AIFF will assist participants in selling their creations.

7. Delegate Registration for AIFF-25 Attendance:

- All filmmakers must register as delegates to attend the festival. Hospitality charges, including breakfast, lunch, and tea/coffee, are applicable for filmmakers and attendees.

8. Delegate Registration for Nominated Films:

- Filmmakers of nominated films must register as delegates to attend the festival. Hospitality charges are waived for up to two attendees per nominated film, including breakfast, lunch, and tea/coffee.

9. Financial Commitment:

- AIFF does not take any financial responsibility for expenses incurred by participants. All travel, lodging, boarding, and miscellaneous expenses must be borne by the participants. No requests for financial support will be entertained.

10. Film Withdrawal:

- Once submitted, films cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances. However, the festival director reserves the right to disqualify any film on specific grounds.

11. Multiple Submissions:

- Filmmakers can submit multiple films with separate submission forms and fees. Once submitted, fees are non-refundable.

12. Copyright Responsibility:

- By submitting films to AIFF, the filmmaker/producer assumes full responsibility for copyright issues related to music, script, and other creative and technical aspects of the film.

13. Promotional Use:

- The organization may use pieces from selected films (up to 10% maximum) to promote the films and the festival.

14. Non-Screening Categories:

- Categories listed as 'Non-Screening but in Award Competition' will not be screened publicly. Only judges will view these entries for judging purposes.


15. Watermark and Advertisement:

- All films should be free of any watermarks and advertisements.
