Taipei Film Commission (“the Organizer”) is holding the 14th Taipei International Golden Short Film Awards (“the Event”) to promote close communication and exchange among industry, government, and academia and to help bring the energy of innovation to the film industry. The main goal is to discover TV and film talent from Taiwan and overseas, and enhance our international outlook by cultivating new film and TV talent through competition.

General Award

International Section: Special Jury Grand Prize

1 Recipients

1.The duration (including title and credits) should not exceed 15 minutes.

2.The film must not have won any microfilm or short film award in Taiwan before June 5, 2024, where the prize money (or equivalent monetary value) is greater than NT$30,000.

3.All production on the film must have taken place after May 1, 2023. Different versions of the same project may not, for any reason, be resubmitted for consideration.

4.The film must have subtitles in Traditional Chinese. Non-Chinese-language films must have subtitles in either Traditional Chinese or English.

5.The recommended specifications are FHD1920x1080, Frame Rate: 24fps, Sound: 24bit or 48bit. The film must be in.mpg or .mp4 file format. For the purposes of the shortlist film screening, if these specifications are not followed, the organizer has the right to refuse to screen the film.

6.The cover poster must be saved in A4 size .jpg (21x29.7 cm), one portrait and one landscape format.

No file dimensions are specified for the 5-10 film stills in landscape format, but each file must be at least 2 MB.
