Energía: Cine Deportivo Internacional (2)

BLUE MULTIMEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT INVITES filmmakers, videographers, and other audiovisual creators to submit their sports-themed works to the first edition of Energía: International Sports Film Festival. The festival will take place from June 14 to 18, 2027, at various venues in Mexico City.

The materials must be exclusively sports-themed.
Works in the categories of documentary, fiction, and animation in short and feature film formats, with no duration restrictions, produced from 2020 to date, are eligible to participate.

This includes works in progress, with priority given to materials that are unpublished or have not been released in Mexico.

REGISTRATION:

Works of any nationality may participate using the FESTHOME platform. Participants accept that the registration of their work does not guarantee its selection or screening, as it is not part of the official selection.

Participants must pay the corresponding registration fee.

If selected, the participant agrees to wait for the official selection email and not to publish the notification before ENERGIA makes its official selection public.

RULES

Entries may be individual or collective, with no limit on the number of works submitted.

By submitting their works, participants agree that, if selected, their participation will include both in-person and online exhibitions.

There are no restrictions on the format of the work (it can be created using anything from a smartphone to any type of camera).

The selected works will be contacted via the email address provided on the registration platforms. (Please ensure that your email address is active).

The official selection will be made by the organizing committee.

Materials must have Spanish subtitles when their original language is not Spanish.

If selected, participants will receive a letter authorizing the exhibition.

The Energía organizing committee will establish the dates, times, and locations for the exhibition of each selected work. These will be announced on our social media accounts.

Energía will not pay screening fees for participating material.

All selected works will be kept by the committee as part of the Energía film archive.

No participant may withdraw their work once the official selection has been made.

Any situation not covered in this call for entries will be resolved by the festival's organizing committee.
