Fantafestival, the historic festival of Rome dedicated to science fiction, horror and fantasy, organizes the first Italian pitch of fantastic genre.

Directors, screenwriters and authors looking for a production for their work will be able to enter their pitch in the selection. The ten best works selected by the Fantafestival editorial team will have the opportunity to be presented during the festival in front of an audience of production companies interested in the genre.

The authors of the selected pitches will be invited to the festival and will have a 10-minute slot available to present their work to various production companies. If some company is interested, the authors can then arrange a private meeting. There will be no refund of the travel expenses for the authors.

The pitches must be for works (feature films, short films, documentaries) with a fantastic theme (horror, science fiction, fantasy or similar genres).

Each pitch must be presented with a pitch deck composed of the following materials: synopsis (max 1 page), notes on the project (max 1 page), biographical profile of the author (max 1 page) and a photographic or drawn moodboard in order to understand the tone of the work (optional, max 1 page).

All materials must be included in a single file in PDF format no larger than 10 Mb.
