Whether your film tells a story of personal triumph, teamwork, or pushing the limits of human potential, the Oaxaca Sports Film Festival 2025 aims to showcase those stories that inspire through action.

Categories Accepted
Feature Films: Fiction, documentary, or animation focused on sports themes.
Short Films: Short-form fiction, documentary, or animation related to the world of sports.
Experimental Films and New Narratives: Innovative audiovisual pieces that explore sports from unique perspectives.
Nutrition in sports: Films about nutrition in sports and health.
Diversity in sports: LGBT+ Stories in sports.

Submission Rules

Films must be related to sports or address sports themes, whether in fiction, documentary, animation, or experimental formats.
We accept films of all genres from any country.
English or Spanish subtitles are required for films that are not in these languages.
Submission does not guarantee selection for the festival.

Your film must have been made after 2022

We DO take work in progress as long as the finish film is complete by the time of the festival.

Spanish subtitles are a must in every film selected.

Have a trailer, poster, flyers and any promocional material ready to send to fest so we can promote it.

We DO NOT give fee waivers

We DO NOT pay for shippings.

ALL material is destroy unless you ask us NOT TO at the moment of submition
