Since June 2024, we have been organising independent and international cinema screenings in Lisbon, its focus being short films.
Our festival's mission is to make culture accessible to everyone!
Curtas na Cesta is Shorts in the Basket in english because we dedicate our time into harvesting the best and freshest cinema out there.

1st Open Call for “Curtas na Cesta” is now open!
Since June 2024, we’ve been organizing independent film screenings in the cozy Emaús garage. It’s incredible to see more and more people showing up to watch short films from all around the globe and with diverse themes. That’s why we’ve decided to do an Open Call for our upcoming program in December.
We invite audiovisual artists from anywhere in the world to enrich our selection with their vision, authenticity, and stories to tell. With no restrictions on film genre or theme, the only requirement is that it has to be a short film.
