Ametlla Film Fest is an international film festival that aims to promote Catalan culture within the short film sector.

A programme is selected based on artistic, technical and script criteria.

THE FESTIVAL

L'Ametlla Film Fest - International Catalan Film Festival is a competitive festival held in l'Ametlla de Mar with the aim of giving visibility to emerging artists and creating a meeting point with industry professionals.

It is a competitive section with a jury chosen by the Festival management. This jury awards the following prizes:

-Best Short Film
-Best Performance
-Best Screenplay
-Best Photography
-Special Audience Award

REGISTRATION RULES FOR FILM SUBMISSIONS TO THE 1ST INTERNATIONAL CATALAN FILM FESTIVAL OF EBRE.

I. REGISTRATION PROTOCOL:

To submit a film to the Festival and facilitate its screening, the following instructions must be followed.

Register the short film through the official platforms designated by the event: festhome.com.

-All short films entered into the festival must have the authorisations and transfers of copyright and other owners of pre-existing original works that have been incorporated into the short film.

-The participants, by accepting and complying with these rules, make a sworn statement ensuring that the short film they submit does not violate any intellectual or industrial rights, or exploitation rights, or the right to honour, privacy and image, or any other rights of third parties.

-The authors of the short films entered into the festival transfer the rights of public screening.

-The genre of the short films is free.

-The minimum duration is 8 minutes and the maximum is 20 minutes.

-The registration of works in progress is accepted. This state of production must be indicated at the time of registration, checking the appropriate box, or indicating it in parentheses after the title.

-All titles submitted whose original version is different from Catalan, must have Catalan subtitles or Spanish subtitles.

-DVDs / Blu-Rays will not be accepted. Likewise, viewing links received outside the official Festhome platform will not be considered.

II. REGISTRATION FEES

-Registration is completely free.

III. REGISTRATION deadlineS
The closing date for registration is:

April 15, 2025

No title will be accepted once the official registration has closed.

III. OFFICIAL PARTICIPATION PROCEDURE IN CASE OF SELECTION

3.1. In the event of selection, the festival must be provided with high-quality advertising material: photographs, posters, press kit, trailer, etc., so that the festival can promote the film appropriately. The Festival reserves the right not to return these materials.

3.2. In the event of selection, the director must provide the appropriate material: non-encrypted DCP, digital file with HD quality (.mov) and list of dialogues and/or subtitles. Participating films must have subtitles in Catalan and/or Spanish or be dubbed in these languages.

The Festival will not return these materials, which will be destroyed once the competition has ended.
