Within the framework of the 5th Community Film Festival “Chaski Awards”, a project that won economic incentives from the Ministry of Culture
of Peru - 2024, produced and carried out by the non-profit Association Chaski Arguedas, from August 26 to November 15, 2025, an activity that will consist of a laboratory, workshops, discussions, interviews, a contest and screening of short films and feature films.

The “Premios Chaski” Festival is a space that brings together filmmakers, technicians, specialists, students, audiovisual professionals, amateurs and the like, nationwide, who have projects in the following categories:

IN COMPETITION:

• Best National Fiction Short Film

• Best National Documentary Short Film

• Best Latin American Animated Short Film

• Best Costumbrista Narrative Short Film (Short films imbued with the identity of the place they come from)

• Best Laboratory Short Film (Results of the laboratory with young people from indigenous communities)

ON EXHIBITION:

• National Feature Films

• Latin American Feature Films

Certificate and Trophy

• Best National Fiction Short Film - Certificate and Trophy

• Best National Documentary Short Film - Certificate and Trophy

• Best Latin American Animation Short Film - Certificate and
Trophy

• Best Costumbrista Narrative Short Film - Certificate, Trophy,
Cash Prize.

• Best Laboratory Short Film - Certificate and Trophy

CONSIDERATIONS FOR APPLICATION

• For all categories, short films aimed at
children and/or youth audience

• Registration for this call is free

• Short films in languages ​​other than Spanish must
have subtitles

• Short films must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes

• The short films must have been made from 2020 onwards in forward

• The nominated short films must be in digital format (.mp4/. mov)

• The nominated short films must not have participated inprevious editions of the festival
