Season-2, First Day First Show Film Festival-25


1. Fee- Submit Free for Pre-selection. Fee needs to be paid if selected as per following requisition.

Professional Fee: EUR 30| Student Fee: EUR 25

2.Eligibility

Type of Film: Shorts, Documentary, Animation & Music Videos in professional & student category.

Duration: 30 min max.

Production Date: 2023 onwards.

4. Subtitles: If the film is in a language other than English, subtitles must require in English.


5. Rights and Permissions

Rights to the Film: The filmmaker must hold the necessary rights to the content in the film, including music, visuals, and any other intellectual property.

Screening Rights: By submitting, filmmakers grant the festival permission to screen their film as part of the festival.

Promotional Use: The festival often reserves the right to use clips, trailers, and promotional materials from the film for marketing the festival.


6. Selection & Judging Process

Selection Method: Films will be evaluated based on artistic, technical, and thematic merits. The festival’s decisions regarding film acceptance and awards are final, and can’t be challenged.


7. Notification:

The officially selected films will be notified by the festival via email on 17 May 2025.

Result will be announced in advance on 20 May 2025.


8. Screenings, Result, Ceremony & award dispatch:

· The films screenings & ceremony will be held in Bangalore on 14 June 2025.

· The delegate registration in order to attend the festival in Bangalore will start in last week of May-25. Day hospitality charges are applicable for filmmakers & attendees which covers buffet lunch & Tea/ Coffee/ Snacks during the day.

· The festival does not take any type financial commitment for the expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself for attending the festival. No request for the same will be entertained.

· The actual postal charges are applicable for the delivery of certificates/trophy/awards.
