Documental Shorts Fest is an international film festival dedicated to the documentary genre in all its expressions and formats. Its country of origin is Colombia, but its reach is global. Documental Shorts Fest aims to showcase real stories that transform perspectives, highlighting national and international audiovisual talent. The festival promotes reflection, social awareness, and narrative innovation among filmmakers and creators from around the world. The submission period will close on August 16, 2025. Collectives, students, filmmakers, producers, amateurs, and the general public from any country are welcome to participate.

Participation in the national or international short film category + A 1000-character review (approximately 150 words), including a quote that summarizes our opinion, written by our selection committee. The review will be sent to you by email and promoted on our social media platforms. This service aims to make your production known to the general public and highlight its most relevant aspects from our point of view. The review will be signed, sent, and published by the festival within 30 days.
