The Last Hope International Film Festival is an inclusive platform for both emerging and established filmmakers. Taking place in the dynamic coastal city of Da Nang, Vietnam, the festival welcomes a wide variety of film genres and voices from across the world.

Debut works, school projects, and independent films are all welcome — as long as they were produced on or after January 1, 2023. English subtitles are required for all non-English-language films.

We celebrate creativity, diversity, and storytelling in all its forms. Join us to showcase your vision and be part of a global celebration of cinema.

Submission is completely free.

All selected winners will receive official laurel seals and digital diplomas. Our awards honor artistic achievement across multiple categories.

The jury may reassign a film to a different category if it better fits its style or form.

– Submissions are open from June 4, 2025, to July 6, 2025

– Notification date: July 21, 2025

– Accepted formats: Short Films (up to 70 minutes)

– Genres: All genres and themes are accepted

– Languages: Any, but English subtitles are mandatory for non-English films

– Debut films and school projects are welcome

– Films submitted in previous editions are allowed

– Multiple submissions of the same film are not allowed

By submitting your film to the Last Hope International Film Festival, you automatically grant us the non-exclusive right to publicly screen your film as part of the festival.

The jury reserves the right to decide which category a film is eligible for.
