Festival Internazionale del Cinema nelle Lingue Minoritarie ’Città di Spilimbergo’ ()

The International Festival of Cinema in Minority Languages "City of Spilimbergo" aims at enhancing minority languages through independent film productions.

The intention is to bring young people as close as possible to their roots, therefore the contest will be open to all authors from all over the world who produce works in one of the officially recognised minority languages.

The prizes consist of official parchments and plaques dedicated to the Festival.

- Best Film (Parchment and Plaque)
- Best Short Film (Parchment and Plaque)
- Mention for Best Director (Parchment and Plaque)
- Mention for best screenplay (Parchment and Plaque)
- Parchment of recognition to all finalists

RULES

The Festival will be structured in three categories: documentaries, fiction films and short films of any genre and duration.

The projects, which must be specifically entered in one of the three categories, must be shot in any language defined as a minority language, and be subtitled in English (or Italian).

The Festival will take place over 2 days (Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of September 2025) where the finalist works will be screened and will end with the awards ceremony.
