The current severe political and ecological crises seem to make idealistic or even utopian thinking—developing positive visions of the future—almost impossible.

Our theme, Collaborative Futures – SMALL APPROACHES, seeks to focus precisely on these small gestures of hope or success.

Participation will be determined by a jury composed of the cooperation partners listed on the website.

The selected works will be presented:

in the spaces of the Gmünder Kunstverein

in public urban spaces (shop windows, facades)

at the “Brazil” arthouse cinema in Schwäbisch Gmünd

on the social media channels of the Gmünder Kunstverein

on a website specifically designed for the project

in a printed catalogue to be published in spring 2026

Film formats (artistic/documentary) as well as animations may be submitted, with a maximum length of 3 minutes and a clear reference to the exhibition theme.

Submissions must include:

An application form with a short biography and project description via Mail.

The film contribution in MP4 format, at least in HD.

Forms for the transfer of rights as described on the website via Mail.

By submitting your work, you grant usage rights exclusively for the purposes listed above within the framework of
the “Collaborative Futures” project. All other rights remain fully with the artist.
