Sponsored by the 8th Grade Film class at Urbana Middle School in Urbana, IL, this festival was created to give our students the opportunity to explore and curate some of the best short coming-of-age films out there.
There are no monetary awards for this festival.
Films that are selected for screening will receive virtual laurels to share on social media.
An overall Best of the Festival award will be selected by audience choice.
Other award categories may be assigned based on student input.
All award winners will receive additional virtual laurels.
All films must be appropriate for all audiences - no R-rated profanity, extreme violence, or sexual content shall be included.
All films must be no more than 10 minutes in length.
All submitters confirm that they have the rights to submit their films.
Special consideration will be given to submissions received by November 1st, 2025
