The Adriatic Film Festival is organized by the cultural association Adriatic Movie and it is focused on independent movie with a particular attention on shorts and documentaries.

The festival is divided in:
- International Short
- National Short
- Documentary (Wordwide)
- Short Academy/School
- Animation

Short films lasting up to 40 minutes and documentaries in digital format can take part in the competition. The registration of works created before 2018 is not allowed.
The theme is free, each participant can present a maximum of two works.

All non-Italian films must have English or Italian subtitles
