Guajarati cinema is one of the major regional and vernacular film industries of the cinema of India has produced more than thousands of films since its inception and still many films including motivational films releases every year.

Ahmedabad – A world heritage city also carries its legacy of Gujarat film industries. The city has cultivated many great filmmakers and artists.

I acquired an idea to start this festival with an assistance of very recognized members of cinema industry.

AIFF is the pioneer in Gujarat to provide platform for filmmakers, musician, animation maker, editor, ad film maker, DOP, script writer, art director etc. to promote their work in the group of experts.

We are expecting great participation with enthusiasm from filmmakers and other industry professionals from India and abroad. The main agenda of AIFF is to provide platform for talent irrespective of newbie or experienced filmmakers.

The 1st AIFF-22 will provide you an environment to flourish your skills in cinema and is definitely will be contributed hugely to your progress as a filmmaker.

AIFF is one of the feather from the bouquet of an idea of omguru and one of his determined dream. He wanted to make a platform for young and amateur filmmakers, musician, animation maker, editor, ad film maker, DOP, script writer, art director etc .

AIFF is the 1st organization in Gujarat who is willing to provide platform for the creativity of an emerging artists.

1. Film must be subtitled in English if language

2. Year of production & accepted movie duration:
Year of production: Jan-2020 onwards
Short Film, animation , AD film ,foreign films : up-to 30 min
Documentaries: up-to 240 min
Music Video: up-to 30 min
Feature Film & Foreign films: Between 60 to 190 min

3. It is not a problem if they have been previously screened, shown on the Internet or
in other festivals

4. Awards for in the following categories (International /Nation)

WINNER: The winners will be honoured with winning certificate and trophy

All participants will get e-certificate of participation

5. The decision of the Jury will be final and can’t be challenged.

6. AIFF will assists participants in selling of their creation.

7. Delegate registration to attend AIFF-22 at Ahmedabad: All filmmakers must have
registered as delegate to attend the festival. Hospitality charges are applicable for
filmmakers & attendees which includes Breakfast, lunch & tea/coffee.

8. Delegate registration for nominated films to attend AIFF-22 at Ahmedabad : All
filmmakers must have registered as delegate to attend the festival. Hospitality
charges are not applicable for filmmakers & attendees who are nominated (only for
two persons) which includes Breakfast, lunch & tea/coffee

9. AIFF-22 does not take any type financial commitment for the expense incurred on
the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding and other
miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself for attending the festival. No request for the same will be entertained.

10. Once the film submitted can’t be withdrawn in any circumstances, however festival
director reserve the rights to disqualify any film on certain grounds.

11. You can submit as many films as you wish with separate submission forms and fees.
Once submission is done then there is no fees refund.

12. By submitting films to AIFF, filmmaker/producer takes the whole responsibility of copyright issues of music, script and other creative and technical aspects of film.

13. The organization can use pieces from the selected films (10% maximum) to promote
them and the festival.

14. Categories mentioned on Festhome website with 'Non-Screening but in Award Competition' will not going to screen, as they are kind of award ceremony competition. Only our judges watch it for judging purpose.

15. Film entries can be submitted online via www.festhome.com or by uploading
complete film online in H.264 MoV File, MP4 Format on Google drive, or Vimeo &
youtube like platforms and sending us the link (and password if protected), plus
Entry Form & Press Kit.

16. All films should be without any watermark and advertisement.
