Welcome to the Ahmedabad International Film Festival (AIFF), a celebration of creativity and talent in the vibrant Gujarati film industry. Our city, Ahmedabad, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is not just steeped in culture but also boasts a legacy in the film industry, nurturing great filmmakers and artists.

AIFF was born from a vision to showcase the best of Gujarati cinema and provide a platform for emerging and established talents. We are proud to be pioneers in Gujarat, offering filmmakers, musicians, animators, editors, ad filmmakers, DOPs, scriptwriters, and art directors an opportunity to showcase their work among industry experts.

We anticipate enthusiastic participation from filmmakers and professionals both nationally and internationally. AIFF’s core mission is to nurture talent, regardless of experience level, fostering an environment where creativity thrives.

Special Festival Mention

1. Film must be subtitled in english if language

2. Year of production & accepted movie duration
Year of production : Jan-2024 onwards.

Short Film, animation, AD film, foreign films : up-to 30 min.

Documentaries : up-to 240 min.

Music Video : up-to 30 min.

Feature Film & Foreign films : Between 60 to 190 min.

3. It is not a problem if they have been previously screened, shown on the Internet or in other festivals.

4. awards for in the following categories (International / National).

FINALIST :Shortlisted films to be considered under the competition category for AIFF awards. will be Honoured with Certificate & Memento.

WINNER : The winners will be honoured with Winning Certificate and Trophy. All Participants will get E-Certificate of Participation.

5. The decision of the Jury will be final and can’t be challenged.

6. AIFF will assists participants in selling of their creation.

7. Delegate registration to attend AIFF-26 at Ahmedabad : All filmmakers must have registered as delegate to attend the festival. Hospitality charges are applicable for filmmakers & attendees which includes Hi-Tea & Dinner.

8. Delegate registration for nominated films to attend AIFF-26 at Ahmedabad : All filmmakers must have registered as delegate to attend the festival. Hospitality charges are not applicable for filmmakers & attendees who are nominated (only for two persons) which includes Hi-Tea & Dinner.

9. AIFF-26 does not take any type financial commitment for the expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself for attending the festival.

No request for the same will be entertained.

10. Once the film submitted can’t be withdrawn in any circumstances, however festival director reserve the rights to disqualify any film on certain grounds.

11. You can submit as many films as you wish with separate submission forms and fees.

By submitting films to AIFF, filmmaker/producer takes the whole responsibility of copyright issues of music, script and other creative and technical aspects of film.

12. The Organization can use pieces from the selected films (10% maximum) to promote them and the festival.

13. Categories mentioned on Festhome website with 'Non-Screening but in Award Competition' will not going to screen, as they are kind of award ceremony competition. Only our judges watch it for judging purpose.

14. Film entries can be submitted online via www.festhome.com or by uploading complete film online in H.264 MoV File, MP4 Format on Google drive, or Vimeo & youtube like platforms and sending us the link (and password if protected), plus Entry Form & Press Kit.

15. All films should be without any watermark and advertisement.
