AmiCorti International Film Festival – 8th Edition
June 2–7, 2026 | Roccaraso (AQ), Italy
"Cinema that inspires change, gives voice to the silenced, and unites communities.”

Founded in 2019, the AmiCorti International Film Festival is an independent and socially engaged event that celebrates its 8th edition in 2026 in the beautiful mountain setting of Roccaraso, Italy, hosted at the historic Cinema Roma.

Each year, the festival becomes a platform for auteur and independent films that tackle urgent and universal themes such as human rights, social justice, environmental sustainability, inclusion, and collective memory.

We welcome short films, feature films, documentaries, animated films, and music videos from all over the world—works that spark reflection, promote intercultural dialogue, and inspire social transformation through the universal language of cinema.

What the festival offers:
Public screenings at Cinema Roma
Meetings with directors and professionals at Auditorium Roccaraso
Cinema Education workshops for students and young filmmakers
Round tables, thematic panels, and masterclasses

Official awards ceremonies
Networking opportunities, press visibility, and distribution contacts
Each year, AmiCorti gathers a vibrant international community of filmmakers, producers, educators, activists, and students, all committed to using cinema as a tool for cultural and social change.

Why participate?

AmiCorti is more than a festival – it’s a cultural movement that celebrates authentic, independent, and conscious cinema. We invite all filmmakers who believe in the transformative power of film to submit their work and join our artistic community.
