Animation Expo (AXPO) is the largest annual event organized by the Animation Student Association of STMM Yogyakarta. This year, we are once again opening the opportunity for creators to showcase their best work to the art community. Which will be appreciated as part of the AXPO 2026 series of events. With the theme "chase your dream live the passion" we hope that artist can share their thoughts and ideas, or to express themselves and inspire other. So that It serves not only as a festival but also as platform to form a community and gather individuals especially in the creative field.

On AXPO movie will be curated based on 2 nominatees :

- International Best Story
- International Best Animation

Will get :

- Official Selection Laurel
- Certificate of appreciation
- Access to event programs
- Collaboration on social media
- Archive on our website

1. Submitters can be a group or teams of college students, community, and/or the general public.

2. Films are rated for all ages, or ages 3 and up.

3. Film themes can be tailored to suit age range requirements.

4. Minimum duration: 3 minutes, maximum: 15 minutes, including credits.

5. Animated films must be digital works in 2D, 3D, stop-motion, or hybrid (2D+3D).

6. Films must not have been screened at AXPO in previous years.

7. Films must not be public service announcements, company/institution profiles, or music videos.

8. Films and trailers must have a minimum resolution of full HD/1920*1080.

9. Film posters must be A3-sized, 300DPI.

10. Films, trailers, and posters must be placed in a single Google Drive folder.

11. Google Drive links must be set for public/share access to animationexpo.mmtc@gmail.com

12. English subtitles must be used for films in foreign or regional languages.

13. Films must be original works and not plagiarized.

14. The committee retains broadcasting rights and may use photos, posters, and/or works of participants exclusively for publication and event purposes.

15. The committee is not responsible for any lawsuits from third parties related to the material included in this submission.

16. The curation and categorization of films will be carried out by a team of curators and the committee.

17. The curation results and the committee's decisions are final.

18. Submitters who pass the curation process will be contacted by the organizing committee.

21. Submissions are free of charge.
AXPO does not charge a screening fee for films screened.
