Awards.

The prizes will be divided into categories:
Social Section: A single first prize of € 50.
Official Section: A single first prize of € 50.
Popular Section: Three prizes of € 25 each.


The financially gifted prizes are subject to their corresponding tax withholding.

The prizes will be awarded in person at a gala on November 14 where one to three of the best projects by category will be exhibited according to duration.
The prizes will be awarded at the gala, if it is not possible to attend the gala in person, a period of three days (until Tuesday, November 17) is opened to contact the organization to organize the possible form of payment.
In case of not being able to attend the gala and not contacting the organization within three days, the award will go to the organization.

Fees.

Registration consists of a fee of € 6, which will go to social projects.


Acceptance of the bases.

Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions, as well as agreement with the interpretative decisions made by the organization.

The organization may cancel this contest or modify these rules without prior notice and reserves the right to resolve any situation not provided for in the rules.


Deadlines.

The first term is opened from September 22 to October 12, with the possibility of extension if the organization considers it necessary.


Inscriptions.

Registration consists of a fee of € 6.

Participation.

Any natural or legal person over 18 years of age who meets the following participation conditions may participate in the contest:

1. Only accepted works that are within the registration system of the contest and that meet all the requirements.

2. The organization is not responsible for providing any type of equipment or material to the contestants.

3. The organization is not responsible for any type of personal or material incident within the production of the short film.

4. The organization reserves the right to reject / eliminate a work if it goes against the legal bases or the content is considered inappropriate or offensive.

5. If the short film is not in Spanish or Catalan, it must be subtitled in one of these two languages.

Contest process and conditions.

1. The works must have been completed between 2010 and 2021.

2. The maximum duration of each piece is 60 minutes.

3. All types of formats and media are allowed for selection. If selected, the organization can request a higher quality copy if required.

4. Along with the project, the following registration information must be provided:
Name and surname of the person presenting the project
Telephone contact
Contact email
Title of the piece
Section or sections to which you want to opt (optional)
Brief synopsis

5. Delivery will be:
5.1. Via mail to artmovcanovelles@gmail.com, sending an email with all the data and a link from vimeo, youtube, dropbox or data transfer platform to view the piece.
5.2. Using one of the online platforms where our festival is.

6. The organization reserves the right to have the last word in the decision of the category selected for each short film.

7. The organization reserves the right to deny or withdraw any project that does not meet the requirements, or contains inappropriate or offensive material.

8. Projects presented by members of the organization or jury are not allowed. If so, they will automatically go to the display section.

9. The participant assumes all legal responsibility for the project and everything that is included such as music, images, photographs, etc. from other authors. If any author or legal representative asks for explanations, all legal responsibility falls on the author / s of said project.

10. The author (s), by participating in the contest, assign or give free of charge all rights to the organization such as reproduction, distribution, commercialization, transformation or public communication.

11. All participating short films must have authorizations and transfers of copyright and other owners of pre-existing and original works that are incorporated into them. In this sense, the participants guarantee that the short films do not violate any right of exploitation, nor rights of honor, privacy and image, nor intellectual and / or industrial property rights and / or any other rights of third parties, and that they do not violate the current legislation. The festival organization declines all legal responsibility for the films submitted to the competition and their content.

Jury, preselection and selection criteria.

The jury will be composed of members of the True Collective, Dimas and collaborators.


Display.

All the selected short films will be screened at Can Palots on Friday, November 13.
The best shorts from each section considered by the organization and jury will be screened at a gala at Can Palots on November 14, where the awards ceremony will take place and the previously voted public special award will be awarded.
If the participants want, the shorts of the popular section can be seen on (vimeo or youtube) after the first public exhibition of these.

Communication and dissemination of projects.

The organization reserves the right, if it deems it appropriate, to publish the winning projects in full or in part in any kind of media without prior notice to the participants without obligation to reimburse any amount for this concept to the participants or winners of the competition.
